No Money? How To Still Have The Best On A Budget
It is human nature that we always want the best. We want the best clothes, the best house and the best car. However, for those struggling to make ends meet and living life on a budget – cannot always have the best. Well actually they can.
So how is it possible to have so much more – but paying so little? By buying second hand of course. Before you dismiss this idea read on, because there are bargains to be had – so you really will have the last laugh.
Second hand is good. As long as the item you buy is serviceable and in sound condition as well as being acceptable as something you would buy when new – then you can bag yourself a serious bargain. Also, look at your own used items. Do they really need to be thrown out just yet? Just take a step back and evaluate how easy it really is to repair your own old items.
Remember that second hand is not always necessarily second best. When someone buys a brand new car they lose a fortune the minute they drive away from the car dealer. For this reason many people are perfectly happy to buy a second hand car as they get it much cheaper. So – why not apply this principle to everything you buy, if you can get it second hand?
Look around for refurbished items if you don’t want to pay the full price. Many electrical dealers offer refurbished goods in perfect working order with warranty either online or on the high street. Shop around for these deals. These items are those that have been return for one reason or another. They may no longer be in the original packaging – so are deemed as used. Or they may have a small fault that has now been rectified.
Organize a swap shop party with your friends and neighbors. Invite them around with their old clothes and have a little fun swapping each others clothing and accessories.
