There are basically 3 types of account to accept credit card payment online - the best thing is they all are FREE!

when you fist sign up paypal, you account type status will be “Personal” with some limitation for accept or withdraw credit card payment. I will show you how to upgrade to ”Premier & Business” types with just one click. But first of all, you will need to become verified paypal, see How To Verify Paypal!

Upgrade you Paypal Payment Gateway account From “Personal” to “Premium / Business” FREE!

I’m assumed you already been signed up a Paypal account , if not, do so and verified your Paypal account. then, login back to your Paypal account, you should see a button link stated “Upgrade account”, click on it now.

You will be hyperlink to below page, click on the Upgrade Now button once again and you done

Create payment gateway button to accept credit card payment for your product or service on website or blog Free. its so easy!

There are a few payments option can be use, such as: email payment, recurring credit card payment for membership and so on. the set up process is quite similar, but in this case, i will show you how to set up with a standard way to accept credit card payment for a single product from your website or blog. 

From your Paypal account, Go to Mechant Service then click on Website Payament Standard:

Choose “sell single item” payment button…

Click on “Get Started” link…

Fill up your product name (any of your wish). item ID number is optional ( I use to leave it blank). your product price. If you are targeting ww customer, USD currency is the one to choose or otherwise of your choice. Your country. Weight - leave if blank if you are not selling pysical product that require shipping.

Choose the buy now button on your site. If you want to use your own button image, firstly you are require to upload the image by clicking on “use your own button image”.

Set Button encryption to “Yes” as we are selling single item on site not via email.

For this sharing, we are selling download able product on the web for auto download. Hence, set both to “0″ as we do not require shipping any physical product.  then click on “Add More Option” to proceed.

Here is what you can customize your credit card payment pages. but this is option, select Paypal primary page style is an easy way unless you can customize it yourself.

Create your Thank You Page and insert the URL. When Customer successful making payment via credit card from your site, Paypal will automatically send the customer to this thank you page. You may put the product information, download link or instruction for customer to continues with the rest of process in getting their goods.

You are almost there, click on Create Button Now to get the payment gateway coding. copy and paste the HTML code onto your website of your wish - you done
